I made the terrible decision to disassemble an H&R single shot .410. It was covered in rust and filled with dirt/dust from some time riding shotgun (cheesy pun intended) in the Ranger around the ranch. I disassembled it for beadblast and duracoat.

This is without a doubt the hardest firearm I’ve ever disassembled and attempted to reassemble. Does anyone have any tips on compressing the hammer spring (While at the same time depressing the firing pin spring) and aligning the hammer pin? I have a good idea how it goes back together but can’t seem to actually do it.
