I know it’s a stretch but any 150 class bucks for a budget?

So this weekend I shot my target buck with my bow, aimed low thinking he’d duck, well I guess he didn’t duck. We blood trailed him for 350 yds with steady drops of blood until he hit the creek. Called in some dogs with no luck, the guy with the dogs thinks the deer is alive, but who knows. After this I get home and find out my freezer went out...so I lost my bowkill I camped out from beginning of October, all my deer meat, a bass I was going to mount, a pintail, a wigeon, and a bobcat.....
I looked into doing a hunt earlier in the year, but was on a budget and ended up killing a solid buck at the begging of the year. However after all the terrible luck this weekend losing my meat and all I figured I’d test the waters to see if I could line up a hunt for a good buck after I just screwed up on my biggest buck I had on my trail cam. I know it’s a reach, but any big 8s or just nice bucks in general 140 to 150 class type deer for 2-2500 range? I’d like to see pics.

Hey Bud,
Sorry about the luck. It comes in waves so hopefully you’re behind it now. Check out my post titled whitetail hunts in South Texas.140-150 is $2,500 and I have pics posted on that thread. Contact number also listed on the price sheet. I hope your season turns around and to hear from you about getting you a buck. Take care.

Thanks buddy, like you said it comes in waves. I hunt small tract of private land in mississippi so it’s tough hunting, but I was off to a great start. Anyway, hopefully I got my bad luck out the way for a bit! I checked out your thread and there’s some great looking deer. What’s your typical success rate on whitetails?
