I have a Vortex AMG UH1 just sitting in the safe with nothing to put it on. I was thinking about slapping it on my crossbow but not sure how well it will work. I know the best answer is to try it and see but I was just curious if anyone has a crossbow outfitted with a holographic sight and how it works out for them. I also have the vortex 3x magnifier but I believe that may just be overkill to be paired with the holographic sight since really 30-40 yards is max distance.

It would probably work ok on your crossbow, but one aiming point unless using top of circle, dot and bottom of circle for aiming points at different yardages seems not as easy as a good crossbow scope. For one yardage it would be fine.

Just my thoughts
