I have a Vortex AMG UH1 just sitting in the safe with nothing to put it on. I was thinking about slapping it on my crossbow but not sure how well it will work. I know the best answer is to try it and see but I was just curious if anyone has a crossbow outfitted with a holographic sight and how it works out for them. I also have the vortex 3x magnifier but I believe that may just be overkill to be paired with the holographic sight since really 30-40 yards is max distance.

do yourself a favor and buy the HHA Speed Dial for Crossbows, then put a 3-9x50 rifle scope on it with a Plex reticle. The holographic sight seems to wash out the animal at last light and the riflescope will give you the advantage until shooting time has ended.
