Either some old retired to ranch duty ariat pull ons or red head lace ups. Probably the read heads because they are more comfortable and water proof.

Cabela's Men's Zoned Comfort Trac 1,200 Gram Rubber Boots with the thickest Cabela's wool socks they had. I have zero heat in my feet and hands. I've always been miserable with cold feet and hands, and I'm hoping these boots and socks will get me to be less miserable into the 30s.

I was the same way until I started cheating and began using a heater when hunting in a ground blind. Otherwise, I use a pair of ThermaCell Heated Insoles to keep my feet and toes warm and an insulated muff to keep my hands warm. They both work so well that I can wear lighter socks and gloves and not lose dexterity.

My Chippewas are water proof and plenty comfortable, but the Under Armors fit my feet and ankles like a glove that's why I prefer them when snakes are not a threat. The Chipps are much quieter when walking than the UA's though. The aggressive tread on the UA's pretty much relocate every rock they come in contact with.

Temps up here will be in the teens in the morning so I will be wearing my Zamberlan insulated boots. Otherwise I would be wearing my uninsulated White's.

I'll be in Saskatoon for opener, supposed to be in the single digits. I'll have on wool socks and 1200 gram Lacrosse boots.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Red Wings if it's not cold. Rocky lace ups with 400G thinsulate if it's chilly.

Take my mucks, keens, and lucchese barn boots then figure it out from there. Barn boots win on comfort for sure

Wish I could find boots that would keep my feet warm. I can't name all the different brands I have tried. I do fine with Redhead socks and any mud boot. Make sure they aren't tight.

x2 muck boots and wool socks especially with all the rain we've had. If I decide to hike around in the back pasture I may put on my insulated Meindls.

We use Mickey Mouse boots in cold weather training while in the USMC back in the mid ‘80s. They were the warmest boots I’ve ever had, but I remember they had poor traction while walking on icy ground in addition to being heavy and bulbous. These Cabela’s slip on rubber boots I’ll be wearing this weekend for the first time are also heavy and bulbous, but they have a better sole. Even so, I may try to nab a pair of the MMBs if I’m not happy with these Cabela’s.

Wish I could find boots that would keep my feet warm. I can't name all the different brands I have tried. I was very surprised to find my feet and toes stayed warmer in an insulated rubber boot than a standard-height leather boot, including those with rubber bottoms and an insulated insert. Not sure if it's the true reason why but I suspect it's because a boot that fits higher and tighter around the calf area doesn't allow as much heat to exit the foot and ankle area, nor allow it to be radiated as easily from the lower calf. But it must be one that fits tighter around the calf and not those cheap, rubber boots that don't. The only down side is they can be hard to get off when wearing a heavier sock.

Warm as can be though. In fact, you don't want to wear these unless its REALLY cold out..or unless you plan to do a lot of sitting. Walking or other exercise will probably cause your feet to sweat in them. I don't recommend trying to drive in them either. It is very hard to 'feel' the accelerator and brake pedal. You lose the tactile sensation (feedback) because they are so large and insulated. BUT....for absolutely keeping your feet warm, they will do that. Before putting Big Buddy propane heaters in all the box blinds (years ago), I kept a pair of these boots in my Daughters deer stand, so she could just slip them on when we got there. I have a pair also, but haven't worn them in years.

I'll be wearing my favorite hiking boots along with my electric heated socks on. Shocking how effective those are. Takes one D cell battery and get's too warm for comfort in 30-degree weather. Found that keeping my feet warm along with a heavy jacket is the key to keeping me comfortable during long sessions in the blind.

Everyday Wolverine steel toe propped against 2 Buddy Heaters if needed. My head is as important as my feet.
