theres a pretty good BBQ place out in trenton, tx. guys only open on fridays and Saturdays. found this place while replacing a couple gas mains in that town it's called smokers only bbq

I agree the hard 8 and coopers in ft worth not worth the time or the money. I hunt in Llano and Coopers there is still pretty dang good but Pricey. We always go to Southside bbq on HWY 16 in Cherokee tx. Open Friday and Saturday 11am to 8pm and Sundays 11 to 2 pm. Killer bbq,family run and appreciate the Hunters, prices are 3 to 4 dollars cheaper per lb. you can call ahead and it will be ready for you to pick up. Also sell beer to go !!!
