Looking for help. Load shell in chamber and 2 in magazine. Fire shell in chamber, it ejects perfectly. Next shell jams the load ramp. Happens when manually cycling the action and when shooting. It's like the magazine releases the shell before the load ramp is all the way down. Any suggestion as to the problem? I've googled all I know with no definitive answer. Doesn't matter what type/brand of shells. It's been to two different gun smiths, they say it's fixed, but no go, same problem. The gun is 20yrs old or so. I don't see anything bent or out of place.

Does the shell make it onto the lifter? 1100s (and I believe 1187s) must have enough mag spring tension to release the flipper thingy at the back of the lifter to load the shell.
The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

The lifter jams against the shell. In my searching, it was recommended to stretch the magazine spring. I'll try that. BIL, the O rings have all been replaced. Thanks.

You need a new or stronger spring. I had same issue with a 20 ga. 1100. New spring corrected my feeding issues.
