I've seen a History Channel and it was about guns. It interviewed a Secret Service member on the Reagan detail during the assassination attempt. I believe it was an Uzi that one of the guys pulled out of his jacket. I assume at least 2-4 agents near the President will have some short smg in their jackets.

I think mainly Glock or Sig for handguns. The SMG choices would be pretty interesting.

The show slow-mode replayed and i totally couldn't tell he had such firepower with him. It was awesome. In mind, someones near the president has either a Kris Vector of some MP5 version.

Article in Guns and Ammo several years ago covered it. I don't recall exactly which handguns they were carrying, but their compact full autos were FN 5.7.

Speaking of SS, why was John Hinckley taken alive? IS there a mandate of some sort to try to capture such people? Seems like these days he'd take about 30-40 rounds.

I’d lean towards the thought of the FN P90 being under at least a few jackets, and it’s hard to argue why it wouldn’t be. But it would be better pretty bada$$ if someone had a couple of Micro UZIs on shoulder rigs like good ol’ Chuck Norris had
Have fun, be safe.

Capturing the shooter alive could likely make all the difference in determining if he acted as part of a conspiracy. Isn't that why Oswald never made it out of the police station alive, as some believe?
