He was under the tractor, moved him about 30' into the grass, he beat me back to the tractor.
So I took him to the gravel road & cut his head off.
Didn't want to get blood on the concrete.

Better than getting bit!!

It probably saw the square toed boots.

There was a similar one in my back yard this afternoon. I gave it a pass.

He was trying to get back to his twin inside the cowling of your tractor.

Tell the kids you let fish off your dock to be on the lookout that you saw one and didn't kill it.

Looks like a Rattle Bug with no Rattles

I say they're expensive

I tried to relocate him, can't have rattle snakes hanging out under stuff parked under shed. I was about to crawl under to change the oil.
Yes they are Justin boots, about 3 years old & very comfortable.
My picture taking skills are lacking, had 4 rattles, looked like something stepped on or got its tail in the past.
I don't recall how much I paid for the boots.

I saw a few dead snakes in the road on my drive to Bryan this evening. The last one before dark wasn�t dead, until I ran over it.

My snake boots are square toed. I never too much cared for square toe boots until I tried a pair on. They just fit my feet better.

I ran a huge rat snake off my back porch hand rail yesterday. He was under the hummingbird feeder waiting for a meal. He was actually standing up high enough to grab one as they approached. Never seen that before. I whacked around it, not hitting him until he finally decided to get off the porch and head under the house. Now he belongs to the dogs. They will run him off.

Wife was creeped out.
