Considering a lease in Eastern Fannin County and was curious if anyone hunts around there and can give me an idea of what to expect. Reached out to the Game Warden and had a great conversation as well. Any and all help would be appreciated. Place is closer to Honey Grove on the Eastern edge.
Just because you haven't been huntin' your whole life doesn't mean you don't want to spend the rest of your life huntin'.

Very spotty is how I would describe it. Lots of open farm country along with numerous small acreage landowners.
Neighbors and your habitat will be the determining factor.

Deer hunting has gotten much better over the last 10 years in Fannin Co. Will be very interesting to see what happens when the new lake starts fill up? That gives me the idea to start a thread about the effects of a new lake filling up.
