I am rough on phones, I am looking at the CAT S-61 phone, anyone have any personal experience with it. Don't use my phone for anything other than maps, pictures, and a few basic apps. Don't need a very fast phone, but this one looks nice.. https://www.gsmarena.com/cat_s61-9076.php

LifeProof cases have done wonders for me.

Thanks, I carry the phones in my pocket, so cases usually make them so much bigger I usually don't like them. We just ordered the CAT 61 phone. It has the thermal, laser measurements, and air quality. I think all these features will be so great for work.

Hopefully it has the apps that you actually use.....

Yes it is a android, and has the play store. One of the best for battery life also.

One of the boys that works for me had an early Cat phone that had problems. I haven't heard anything about the latest versions. I have had pretty good luck with cheap Samsungs with otterbox cases

Read some bad stuff on the S-60, but so far the S-61 seems much better.

I carry mine in my pocket. That said, it sounds like the CAT61 has extra features that you also need.

Buddy has one loves the toughness of it. He was disappointed in the thermal.

Buddy has one loves the toughness of it. He was disappointed in the thermal. I am not expecting perfect clarity, just being able to see a hot spot is fine.
