As anyone ever seen a hunt sold for a red hartebeest in Texas? My wife wants one but doesn't want to travel to Africa. Any lead is appreciated

I've seen a pic of one here in Texas. If you do find one to hunt it's likely going to brought fresh from the breeder or auction floor and dropped on a ranch. And also I can almost guarantee that it's going to cost arm and leg to shoot one here.
Id love to see breeding herds of Hartebeest in Texas though.

It's a shame that she doesn't want to visit Africa. Namibia is a great destination and many parts are wife friendly.

I could go round trip to Namibia and shoot 5 big kudu bulls for what these TX clowns charge to shoot one here.

You might try some of the exotic sales, see who is buying and go from there.
