TH is just joking around. He is saying it takes a 2x4 to train CBR’s. Be nice TH!!

I don’t know much about CBR’s, I’m a lab guy, but they look a lot like labs.

Yes I was making a funny..........
Truth be told........ I have seen a few CBRs and they all seem like fine working dogs BUT.... IMHO not for everyone! Hard Head..........YOU BET! Loyal..........AS ALL GET OUT.... Protective..........YEP to a fault....... I do want an aggresive dog! Not in a family that has kids! YA YA I know........ "My Chessie would not hurt a fly" Well I sure hope so but not willing to take that chance. Saw one trainer get a nice big chunk taken out of his hand doing FF on a male cheesie.... Not pretty! I in NO WAY want to sound like I am bashing but this in my .02

I have found, with 20 yrs experience, that Chessy's trained with harsh tacts (2x4) can be very aggressive. On the other hand trained with negotiation and love and socialization they are not. It greatly depends upon the trainer and handler.

Labs are like men. They are everyones friend, they will work with just about anyone, and you can yell at them as much as you want and they always come back

Chessies are like women. They hold grudges, they only answer to one person, and they have to be persauded to do something.

This is just my two cents.
