Someone once said mixing it with Vodka helped. sounds like a heck of a mess by the time it all would end ...

Turning 40 in a couple months. Going to get one sometime this year. Knew a good man that was too proud to go and get things checked, even when he had some stomach issues for almost a year on and off. Finally his wife convinced him. He went and got checked and got a year-at most-to live. Full blown colon cancer. He was in his 60's and never went to get a colon check up in his life. Doctor told his wife if he had been doing his regular check ups, they wouldn't be searching for a cemetery plot and making end game plans. Was sad to see him fade each day until he passed. Was really sad to know he could have been around many more years, if he had just gone to do the screenings. With all the toxins and byproducts in our food and drinks and in our environment, I feel it is necessary to start the screening earlier. my two cents. I also feel like you owe it to your loved ones to go get screened, early and routinely.

I had my first one about 8 years ago... the procedure was a breeze, it was the prep part that was so heinous. Long story short... I developed and patented these handles to put on the side of the toilet for colonoscopy prepping. I'm a millionaire now.

At my clinic, you check in with the receptionist, then see a triage nurse that goes over your prep and makes sure things are ok. The first question she asked was how are you feeling? She had a big smile when I replied, fine except for my colon, it's whimpering in the corner after the beating it's had.
for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

I'm a DIY guy. Same here. I have the 2 stroke gas powered from Stihl.....I've had 3 colonoscopies. Seems I have 'ulcerative colitis'. Endoscopes are small these days. Years ago, when my Dad had his first one, they didnt have endoscopes. They had to send a sketch artist up there. Talk about a pain in the arse. Times change.

My MIL died from colon cancer at age 60. Get it done, folks. The prep sucks but do it. Just stay close to the toilet, otherwise it could turn out to be a " clean up on aisle 4". Next morning they get you snug in bed, juice you up with that stuff that killed Michael Jackson. You'll feel like a big ol' fuzzy teddy bear, and it's off to the races. Kind of like going to a very expensive spa for a couple of hours.

Kind of like going to a very expensive spa for a couple of hours. I had my first one at 49...had some bleeding that had to be checked out. Turned out to be just one larger polyp , non cancer, but they got it out and I went back 12 months later and was clean, so now I don’t have to go back for 10 years. I had an uncle die of colon cancer. By the time the hard headed SOB went in, he was ate up. Then he told my aunt he had been bleeding for 6 months but never told anyone....
