I will say that I have a few things made by Ramball and the quality is first rate.

The Jambo is a great pit, expensive but a very nice pit. Check out the website and call them, probably will be a long wait. Also check out Rockin W smokers, he�s in Boyd, north of Ft Worth, very nice pits also nearly identical to the Jambo. There is bbq cookoff April 4th in Ennis at the Texas Motorplex, Jambo is the sponsor, will be a lot of his pits there, probably 80 plus teams, come on by

Can we just focus on Jambo's smokers folks?

Love my Yoder Durango. If you're not buying local look into them.
I wish I had local options but not many in Wyoming. Yoder is a quality product and so far been working out good for me. Just hard to get hot when it's not middle of summer up here. Great for smoked cheese and sea salt in cooler seasons.

I've seen a lot of them at competitions and met the owner Jamie Greer (sp?). Their insulated firebox does a great job and will hold a small fire for a long time and keep the smoker at an even temp. They don't leak smoke a bit and look great. The boiler door is a cool option but not sure it's worth $1000 (last time I looked at pricing). I really like how they look and the painter he uses is awesome if you want to spend the $$ on a cool paint job. For a backyard smoker, probably not worth a fancy airbrushed paint job.

He and his wife both beat my brisket a couple years ago. They weren't in attendance this past year when I got 6th. I wish he was so I could say I beat him!!
