Always. While checking fences on foot in October 2011, I found a 32" Axis sleeping under a cedar. He never woke up. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Sheet I don't go hardly anywhere without a side arm and if it's outside city limits I have an AR in the truck as well. Never know when a two or four legged varmint will need putting down.

I live by the rule that an unloaded gun like a nail with no hammer. Not even having a gun would be worse. I never leave home without at least one loaded one.
