I had the opportunity to go to a good friends ranch to help him complete his MLD quota. I'm strictly a bow hunter and try my best to get video whenever I let 'er rip. As is with all my videos, I try to keep them all around 1 min. This is a 6.5 year old deer and surprisingly is already on the decline (was about 10" larger last year) so he was on the hit list. Just to give you some perspective.... he grossed 140", with a 14" spread and 18" main beams. In the video, you can see larger (younger) bucks that were not on the list! If you look closely after the shot, you can see the lighted knock on the ground behind him. Mathews at 68lb draw, Rage 2" Hypodermic broad head, deer was 22 yards. This is my 1st year testing the Rage. 7 shots (whitetail, hogs, Axis) and 7 recoveries. So far, so good. For those of you already going through withdraw... enjoy.
