I’m new to the forum and thought this would be a good place to look for a partner for duck hunting. I’ve been duck hunting since the early 80’s and usually with my dad but he’s no longer able to hunt because of his age. I’m 50 and don’t get a lot of enjoyment going by myself especially since I don’t have a dog anymore. Duck hunting is my passion and I would just like to have a friend to enjoy it with. I have all the gear decoys and a new mud boat so I’m ready to go. I live in Plano and hunt two public lakes extensively. I save most of my vacation time for hunting season so I’m free during the week a lot. So if anyone is interested let me know. I sure would appreciate it. Thanks guys.

Welcome! Everyone that I have met on here have been great people. Good Luck with your search. I'd probably take you up on it, but I'm more of a deer hunter, and already have quite a bit of deer hunting still planned through Jan.

You should get a new dog, best hunting partner ever. Good luck.

I'm new to duck hunting, and I don't have fancy gear or anything, but I'm close to you and interested.

Good afternoon
Read your post and I live close to Plano. You need a partner let me know I’m close to Greenville and hunt WMA often. My lab is retired as well going on 15 years old. I was hunting one morning before Thanksgiving and met a young man by himself and I asked him to hunt with me instead of being separate and possibly messing up each others hunt. We shot a two man limit and was good hunt. It’s more fun to have someone with you and also safer out there in a boat or walking in either way. Anytime you need a partner let me know your more than welcome

Great offer! I will try to reach out to you later in the season, maybe around the Xmas holidays.
But I’m sure you will find some good folks to tag along.

I am always looking for new hunting buddies! I live in Keller. Shoot me a PM. I usually hunt on weekends and have saved up a few vacation days to chase any cold fronts that might show up durimg the week before season is over.

Read your post I live in plano have a dog and can hunt pretty any time.Give me shout..Also I'm around your age been duck hunting since the 80s my partner moved and want to start it up again..I also have most of the goodies minus the duck boat I did just get a new bass boat for after duck season..So sounds like we need to meet up and kill some ducks..

I live in Plano as well. I do not have a boat or a dog, but have been duck hunting for two years now. I am free on the weekends as well.
