Maybe give a little more information on her.

Shopping with your husband is like hunting with the game warden.
Experience is what you get, when you didn't get what you wanted.

And location.

Quail hunting is like walking into, and out of a beautiful painting all day long. Gene Hill

Located in Buffalo TX. This dog is 5 years old as stated and is not an experienced hunting dog by any stretch of the imagination. I do believe one could take her and make something with her. She has all the genetic potential a dog would need to retrieve water fowel or point upland birds. She just needs someone with the time and patience to finish her.

I'm not looking for a new dog at the moment, but I do help with a pointer rescue out of Dallas.
If you don't find her a new home, I can get her into rescue, if your interested.
I'll private message you my cell number.
Just text me if she needs a place.
Deb

Is she obedience trained, house broken, good with kids or other pets?

These dogs are smart. I rescued one that had been sitting in a kennel for about 5 years. With a little work, he became an excellent hunter.
