I hunt the Collingsworth side of county line road and I'm not getting any daytime trail cam pics of mature bucks yet, and I am seeing 2 shooters at night. Younger bucks are still together. I'll be heading up tomorrow so will post when things turn on.

I hunt just west of Childress and opening weekend I got to see a Buck mount a doe. I have never personally witnessed that before in my life.
Last weekend saw a buck chasing a doe - had his nose down and following her around. Some good buck movement.

Headed to my buddies ranch on the west line of Hardeman County tonight. He said last weekend there was a little chasing going on but not crazy. Hoping to see some good action this weekend.

Babies are chasing but the big boys (if there are any) haven't started yet. The drought sure did play hell on the deer numbers and age structure up here!
