we shot a buck something like that on our place a few years ago. had antlers that stayed in velvet thru the season. Not a huge buck a 4 or 5pt, mishapen. we harvested him as a management deer. As you say before he was missing the beans as well. we weren't sure what to think of him, haven't seen anything like him since.

Well, he was well past 13 inches inside spread, but we aren’t in a AR county, so it wouldn’t have mattered for us. However, that’s a good question, and maybe there’s a game warden on this site that could answer that.
