No I don't, but those sure are nice.
I would like to get 24 nice deeks this season. Would like a mix of 6 mallards, 6 wideon, 6 gadwalls, and 6 pintail. Any suggestions? Maybe I need to find 3 others to go in with me.

One of those guys said those have early teal season written all over them....I thought you guys said it was better to use your uglier ones in the earlier season because they aren't fully plumed or whatever????
Does it really matter?

I agree, G&H make quality decoys. That's all I use except for some Milleniums mixed in.

I bought two GHG Puddler Packs - 4 Wigeon, 4 Gadwall, and 4 Pinners. They are the best looking decoys I've ever had.
Since I see lots of teal where I hunted last year I also got the GHG BWT and GWT dekes. Also VERY nice.
Come September I'll have brand new 6 GWT, 6 BWT, 2-4 Gadwall, and maybe a couple of Mallards for Early Teal. Along with the trusty ol' Dove Mojos. Man I can't wait!!!

(btw, I think they look nice, but I will stick with what I got)

What are you tossing out there these days? I noticed that you like to mix in some widgeons and full bodies.
What brand of mallards are you using?
I'm asking 'cause I need to mix in some new ones next year. I like the Flambeau super magnums, but mine are getting old.
The GHG stuff looks good, I've got a dozen of the full bodies on stakes.
GHG or G&H for a dozen mallards?

GHG or G&H for a dozen mallards?
Here is what I have and use...
2 Dozen Big Water Series Mallards (Cabelas Brand made by GHG) 1 dozen GHG mallard sleeper decoys (NEW TO SPREAD THIS YEAR) 4 No head Mallard decoys (NEW TO SPREAD THIS YEAR) 2 Dozen Full body Mallards GHG (best IMHO) 1 Dozen Pintails G&H (like them better than the GHG) 4 Pintail full bodies GHG 1 Dozen Widgeon GHG 5 Dozen GWT/BWT- mix of flambeau and Carry lite 18 G&H Canada floaters 16 Bigfoot Canada floaters (best IMHO) 9 Bigfoot full body Canada decoys 12 G&H snow goose floaters 12 G&H snow goose full body decoys
These decoys have proven themselves year in and year out...
Hope that helps...let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks, J.J.

Then how come teal always land in mine? Teal consistently land in my teal decoys over any other decoy I have.

I think gunner is saying that teal will come into any decoys, so buying teal decoys is unnecessary. Heck, he might not even shoot teal.
Sometimes, I put out a dozen teal decoys on the side of my mallard spread. I like to seclude them from the mallards and usually put them shallower.
As for the cranium capacity of teal, I'm not giving them much credit.

Same thing I do. I'll sometimes put a couple of gadwall on the ends of the teal. And like kdub said, the teal always fly right by the other dekes and come to the teal ones. Not saying I wouldn't have gotten a shot without them, but hard to say they're worthless, too...
