My lease doesn’t have the best trees for a tree stand, so I’ll be using a ground blind for the first time. I’ll be hunting bow, BP, and rifle and I might have 2 little kids sit with me a few times. Can you guys please help recommend a good blind to buy, along with what I should look for and stay away from.

Next year I might build one, but for now I want to just buy one and brush it in and hunt from it. Thanks.

If you have the money I’d buy the Down and Out panel blind.

I ran a double bull blind last year, figured spending the extra money would get me better quality. I was disappointed. I would definitely recommend the barronett blinds.

I've got a Barronett Big Mike and it's big enough for a 6' person to stand up and big enough to put three chairs inside with room to spare.
I think I paid just a little over a hundred for it last year.
I had it up all season from Oct. to Jan. and it's still like new.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

X2 Big Mike go to Cabelas and test some out there. They have some on display to get in and try. Little tip if the package on the blind says 2 people. It’s really only big enough for 1 person. In our experience purchase a ground blind says 3 plus people. Hope this helps you out. Also get a blind that is tall enough for you to stand in without hitting your head. That way you could stand and shoot if needed. It also makes it nice to stand and stretch for those looooong sits.

Happy hunting
