Nice pics, new camera or the 900? 900 the 1000's are already back ordered. I had to wait several months for the 900 to ship.

Why do they say you are no longer to use red food coloring in the sugar water? Sure seems to me that the red helps attract them better. Mine is now clear and I don’t like it.

It hasn't been proven, but a lot of folks are concerned that the dye can cause developmental problems in young birds. I switched to clear nectar, and saw a noticeable drop in use. I got some red rustoleum and painted the outside of the glass on the feeder, and the birds came right back.
