Since I didn't see jack in Montague this weekend, I think I will head over to Clay and listen for shooting and roll and hunt! At least that is how the locals do it up there...

Since I didn't see jack in Montague this weekend, I think I will head over to Clay and listen for shooting and roll and hunt! At least that is how the locals do it up there... Reminds me of a out 20 years ago me and a buddy were asking around for a place to hunt opening day. Friend of mine said "if I was in town you could hunt with me down in talty but Im going to my lease." After a few beers he told me where everyone was hunting and that I might be able to blend in but I had better not use his name if I get caught. Well opening day rolls in and we show up and find a place in the field. Hunting was as good as I've seen east of 35. Mid morning ole green pants is walking the opposite fence line checking hunters, as he was doing so the guy directly across from me kept yelling in my direction like he was asking me for something. I meet him mid way through the field and he says "oh I thought you were Scott, I'm here with Scott and the gw was asking" said nope not Scott if I see him I'll tell him your looking for him. When ole green pants got to me and asked who I was there with. You bet ole Scott and me were buds.  Ah youth
