A big clean 6x6 or 7x7 whitetail is really the one I dream of.

Any place for big Mule Deer bucks. A 6x6 WT has eluded me forever would be next. Killed a 7x7 but never a 6x6. Bull Moose and Pronghorn would be after those 2.

I want a big buck from the Midwest. I want one that I can’t drag by myself. A close second is a Red Stand in New Zealand

I just want my nemesis 8 point that I've hunted for the last 3 seasons. He's not a trophy to most folks here, but we have so much history that I'd be more than proud to put a tag on his rack. He'll be 7.5 when the season starts and he ain't getting any dumber.

I know a great place for that!

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Alaska - Caribou/Moose - Load up in a small plane and get dropped off in the middle of nowhere with your guide and buddies for about 10 days. Ideally, with only enough food to barely survive. If you want to eat good you need to harvest.

I have to admit I'm getting older so I better get this trip in before my body won't let me.

I was looking at an Alaska caribou drop-camp hunt yesterday. Still a bargain all things considered. I think it’s hard to pair with a moose hunt though because of the different places they inhabit. But you can do a moose drop camp hunt too. Maybe do them back to back?

I was thinking either/or. But if I can run into a load of cash or convince my wife going on both trips would make me a better husband, back to back would be awesome!
