What your favorite? Mine used to be a 1972 1895 Marlin in 45-70, now a Remington Model 8 in 35 Remington or My Remington 81 in 300 savage.

This year it will be my Browning X-Bolt in .243, or, and I have not purchased it yet but will do so in the next week or so, a .50 or .54 cal sidelock muzzleloader with patched round ball.....

.22-250 to the head and they never move...but besides that I agree with rifleman a .300 win mag is pretty potent.

closest thing to me. unless a rifle is only a few more inches than a pistol or shotgun, ill take the rifle lol! Just got done looking for hogs, didnt find any swine today, but got a good yote, free handed at about 150 yrds, and spent about 15 min chasing a oppossum through an old set of pens and a barn to shoot with my pistol, i dumped about 20 shots before i finnally got it. and then an armadillo when i got back to my camper!!!! now i think ima head over and check a calf feeder for some swine, i should have pics up tommorow.

My ranch rifle is an AR15 in 6.8 SPC. I carry it around on the back of my Rhino and it's dispatched many a hog.
