Josey's Mexican restaurant in Port O'Conner Texas has the best burger around. Doesn't hurt that they let me bring in my Rum bottle to boot.

If your ever in West TX, try the Kermit Drive Inn, in Kermit TX. Their not only good, their also 10" across and well over a lb with all the fixins. Used to eat there when we were shooting in the silhouette and combat matches.

The very best burgers I've had came from places no longer in business. But, for a very good mesquite smoked burger, try Corky's in Odessa on the Andrew highway. They also make a real good peach cobbler for desert, available with ice cream upon request. If memory serves me correctly, they had them on special on Thursdays.

It has been 4 years since I've been there, so not surprised if they are gone too. Yeah, it was a BBQ place, but they made those burgers on either Wed. or Thur. The meat was totally permeated with mesquite smoke. Boy they were good. Oh well .

Yeah I remember it well. A College friends dad was the owner back then. We would party, and he would supply the "left overs" from Corkys. Good BBQ, very good

Storms in Burnet, there the best of the 4 or 5 around. Adairs in dallas has some pretty good uns as well. Best i have had is in new orelans, made with ground cajun sausage patty plus beef patty, but it doesnt count!

Best burger in Texas!!!! Sadly, it is longer available. It was Jim's on Division St. in Arlington. They tore it down . Are maybe the food inspector closed it. It was so greasy that you had to eat over a #3 washtub. But it was big and the best tasting bar none . A little hole in the wall joint, but man they knew how to make a burger taste good.
Always drink upstream from the herd.

I'd have to agree on Tookie's in Seabrook. Next best would be South Shore Beer Garden in Clear Lake Shores. Best 2 places this side of town. If ya go to Tookies, try their onion rings. They're huge. dang good tasting, and almost a full meal by themselves.

Aside from the ones on my back porch, Denton Co Hamburger Co. is good, but the best, is that holeinthewall place in Jacksboro, on the west side of 114 north of the square, that I can never remember their name. So I looked it up, Heard's Hamburger's!!!

There is a place in Crowley (south of Ft. Worth) on 1187 called Nickey D's ( no... not McDonald's LOL) They have a pretty dang good burger.
I fought Him, ran from Him, thought I could do it all without Him, but when I finally turned to Him, He opened his arms and took me in.

Shiney's Paradise Grill, Wlanut and Abrams in Dallas, and the "D" magazine rated number 2 burger is right around the corner on Greenville called "JG's Old Fashioned Burgers" Both are pretty good, but I prefer Paradise.
