That's kind of my point about the ATACR - it may not be the absolute best at anything, but it doesn't really have any shortcomings. Good glass, great reticle, good turrets, great build quality. As a complete package, it just seems hard to beat. If you're willing to make compromises in a specific area, the other brands can start looking nice, but that's not a discussion you should have to have in this price range IMHO.
All that being said, I wouldn't turn any of them down if you gave me one for free. We're nit-picking here amongst some of the best scopes ever made in the history of shooting sports. I could not agree more. As a fairly new to precision and long range shooter, your engineering approach to things is quite obvious. A tiger can't change his stripes. As soon as Tangent Theta puts an MR4 reticle in their 5-25 model, I’ll buy one. Until then, my SWFA HD 5-20 is just fine. Pick up a Minox ZP5 and you're really freaking close, but saved $1000.... I have two of them. I'd love to see it in person sometime. I've heard the optics are great. What reticle(s) do you have? It would be really great if there was some place that buyers could look at S&B, Minox, NF, TT, Razor, etc. scopes all in one place against the same target.

There was a shop in Houston that had S&B and NF and a few others I think, pretty sure the name of the store was The Scopesmith.

Swfa used to let you take stuff outside and look through them.

Realistically would like to take the time to run some trials on the VX-6 HD I’ve already bought.

For some reason my pics are not showing up so Nikon Monarch 5 10X42 Binoculars I went ahead and accomplished 1 of my optic goals for the year. The binocs I bought 6 or 7 years ago when I first started hunting were about $100 and I never liked them from the beginning. I always had a hard time using 2 eyes with them and they just were not very clear it was obvious. I actually hated them. probably why I rarely use binocs when hunting. I received these Nikons a few days ago and it really is like looking at an HD tv vs the old style when you compare these binoculars to my old ones. The picture is noticeably crisper and the colors are bright as opposed to the cheapos which were noticeable duller. I dont use binoculars that much so I didnt want to break the bank and for $275 these are very nice binoculars and I am impressed with the clarity and color. I would rather break the bank on a scope. Goal number 2!! Night Force NXS Compact 2.5-10 X 42 w/ IHR reticle Hunting season is 8 months away so I have time still.

Swfa used to let you take stuff outside and look through them. They do, but they don't carry much of the super high end stuff other than Kahles if I remember right.
