Ok made a quick trip to lease yesterday and grabbed cam card. considering that it rained out there almost everyday since I put it out...not too bad. I put out a sack of Bran and a sack of Sweet feed. The winner is the Rice Bran...the rice bran got hit prob 5 to1 compared to the sweetfeed. Deer still ate the corn, but everyone of them made it to the rice bran. Only prob was the Sweet feed got wet and molded...(hog bait). the rice bran got wet, but did not mold at all, rather it dried out completly in to a crust like patty. It looks like the deer had a hard time getting it after it dried, from the crust on top. I broke it up with a rake, and it smelled fine. I'll be putting another bag of Bran out next weekend in my feeder pen, but the sweet feed is getting burried for hogs. The prego. Does were really in the bran, I would imagine the high fat will help in milk production.
