Sweet! Like the way you left the top on that one side. Take some pics of the set-up when you get it put out.

I would put some carpet on the floor to make it quieter in case you have to move around. Especially if your in a chair with wheels. Even make a smaller window or a hole on one side about 24" or whatever from the bottom so that you can film your hunt if you want to.

Now that I look back at that photo It looks like you may have a shelf in there on the wall where your window is cut and the wall extends out. That might be the right height for a video camera. Good idea for the shelf too. Good place to put your beverage when hunting on the warm October days.

I don't know if I will put any shoot trough screen on the front as of yet. I will be cutting a couple small ports in the sides and back for ventilation. I do like the Idea of a camera port though. I am putting down some carpet that will be removable, maybe save the floor from rotting.
Thanks for the comments.

What's the top made out of? From those pics it looks like it's flat so I'd be concerned about water getting in those joints.
I'd also put you a drip edge over the door and the window.
Otherwise, it looks great! Hard to beat a $50 bow blind.

I like inexpensive / home-made deer stands and hunting equipment.
Not to say that store-bought ain't better (or worse) just that it's fun to me to come up with ways to "skin-the-cat" without having to take out a second motgage.

I am going to put somewhat of a pitched tin roof on it, and caulk the seam up front. I like free chit, but don't do chit for free. There are several little things that are left to do, but it will be ready to haul Aug 1, my next weekend off.
