I'm looking for a new big 10pt that showed up on camera this week. He's a dandy.

Got the 3 year old grandson Jay with me. This is his 2nd year hunting. He gets very excited when the deer show up. He has already shot a bunch of deer with his bb gun today.

I went on New Years Day on a new place I was invited to got to the stand on 2 hours sleep 14 degrees and my little buddy wouldn�t light, sat there freezing for a couple of hours and heard my brother in law shoot a 3pt cull, him my nephew and the landowner pulled up on a utv and showed us around the place it was an awesome place and owners were very nice we saw lots of does a an 8 point from the mule. We had a great time and I gladly gave that heater away and went to Academy to look for a new one. I told my brother in law he could have it or I was going to put a 45 round or two in it and throw it in the dumpster.

Awesome. Good idea on the hearing protection. My ears are ringing from blasting hogs earlier.

Well, 8 slicks was it. Another Coyote showed up...and didn't leave. Actually saw 2 Yote's, couldn't get a shot at the first one.

Buddy don't be so hard on yourself. You had the pleasure of seeing some nice bucks, you set your sights high and it did not happen, thats why they call it hunting. Hopefully you have the 2 extended weeks for doe and spike.

I would have liked to have hunted some these last two weeks but my son has been in town, even though he is attached at the hip of his girlfriend I am happy for whatever moments I get before he leaves.
