Say you drink 4 beers between 4:00-5:30, quit drinking and eat. How long till you could drive, legally??

Depends on your tolerance and size. Too much variation.

Immediatly. 4 beers in an hour and a half is not going to impair you at all with a meal on top of it unless your a 100 pound woman.

I know a guy with 8 DWIs and another with the same 6 feet deep. I have no DWIs or public intoxication charges. Responsable comes easy. Foolishness is for the light hearted and unresponsable. STAY! Drink more and sleep on the couch. After all its about the good memories. PS carry a tooth brush

Disagree again it depends on the individual and the circumstances.

Most alcohol recommendations are based on a 155-lb. adult male. Usually, drinking three standard-sized beverages – like a 12 oz. beer – consumed in under an hour can get the average man drunk.

But some experts say that many people don't know their level of tolerance. In fact, there are genetic, biological and physical factors that can make you drunk faster.

Just a guess with your big azz and the numbers and time you listed cheers

0-1 hour

It would probably take you 3-4 normal beers to hit .08 in an hour
You'll wear off about .02 an hour after you quit.
If you feel a buzz you are there. Most start putting on at show at .11

Eating is very important

Drive safe

I don't need to be anywhere after drinking. I always have a designated driver when I go out to dinner.

There was a time when my comments on this would be entirely different. The simplistic thing to do is just not drink and drive because the hardest thing to do once you start is limiting your drinking. While all your intentions may be good things can go south rather quickly if you have any alcohol on your breath. There's not enough tic-tack's in the world to disguise it. Too high risk.

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

Best to not do it. It isn't just about BAC, it's about impairment. I've seen some who can function surprisingly well at .2 and others who are noticeably impaired at .05. The problem is the vast majority of people have no idea when they start getting impaired, regardless of what they say. People are generally good at seeing impairment in others, but they suck at seeing it in themselves. You can be under .08 and still be DWI.

I can feel it at two beers ina short time.

I do remember being in CO with my parents and going to some Breweries. I had 3, and I felt buzzed for 6 hours. Granted they were like 10-11% alcohol. Glad my parents were driving...
