I walk, use the 4wlr if I need to get something out after shooting it.
Have seen many strapped to the rack with a pad between the bow and the rack.

I just hold it in my left hand. Makes it a little tough but takes away all the bouncing.
You can run but you can't hide...

Mine fits on a gun rack and rides perfectly.

I just hold it in my left hand. Makes it a little tough but takes away all the bouncing. Same here, too nervous to let it bounce around any other way

I have a Koplin gun rest on my golf cart. Holds it right behind my head nicely whether compound or recurve or longbow.

I used to use a bow sling with my crossbow and it only bounced when I did. Takes the shock out so I'd look at some type of bow sling. Back rest? Then you have a problem.
