Ah yes. Buzzards, Hawks, Owls, etc., problem is, not only are they protected by the state, along with Timber Rattlers, they are Federally Protected also, and those folks ain't go no sense of humor about that kind of stuff.

Well guys it was a cold harsh 40 mile an hour wind 20 degree mourning when i finally nestled in my bow stand about 45 feet in a leafless white oak in the bottoms of the sabine river I had just started my oxygen tank from being so high up when i heard something to the east as i slowly turned i realized it was only an airplane flying overhead. So i hung my bow up beside me when it started to rain so i was relived when i remembered to where my new cotton rain suite i just bought from a garage sale so i was feeling really dry just really heavy when this huge whitetail walked not 4 yards from me oh my heart was beating out of my chest i had never seen a buck like this in my life it was almost impossible to reach back to grab my bow but when i did i seen the muy grande bolting toward the north at approx. 23 mph so i grabbed my 1936 fred bear with the fiberglass arrow i lost all my good aluminums practicing and dialed in my specs to the true glows i luckily just bought at walmart and made my guess at windage angle dangle and yardage and flunge it almost straight up my heart was pumping 90 to nothing when i sat back and ate a granola bar i grabbed my binoculars and seen the bruiser still standing my heart sank so i drownded my sorrows with another granola bar when i lost site of the beast i quickly grabbed my binos and he was gone either i had made the best shot in the world or he was gone so i grabbed my tabsco rangefinder and finally aligned the 2 images together and it was 750yds wow thats pretty good never thought i would use that 800 yard pin but glad i sighted it in well when i got to the area i got of my big red 3 wheeler and as soon as i stepped off i seen the white belly every deer hunter looks for i finally made my way after running 100 yards i was shaking but not from running from pure excitement theres no words to describe making a decent shot on such a good spike i bet that sucker had 7 inches and typical to i mean i love not typical bucks but this spike was a typical 7 incher boy i tell ya that was a hunt to remember now for all you folks with your boots on i sure hope ya have up graded to waders by now

Punctuation is always helpful.

I seen a feller kill a 31 point buck at 963 yards with his .888 GODZILLA MAGNUM last year. It was a sight to behold...
