It's an eastern hognose snake. We don't have adders in North America.

I'm glad you said that because I was messing with one and he threw up a toad and I always thought that was strange because I didn't think anything would eat a toad. We had a Boston terrier that would mouth toads and he would look like he was rabid foaming at the mouth. Always heard toads were poisonous.
