Im looking at getting the Stevens .233 model 200 with the grey stock and was wanting to know if anyone else has shot or owned this gun? I found one New for $300 not really wanting a fancy or expensive varmit gun but one that will shoot good. Let me know what you guys know.

Got one and love it. I have painted the stock myself a couple times. (Custom Cammo):)

Have a Simmons 4-12 x 40. Very decent set up for the money. I would and will buy a Stevens 200 again in another caliber. Thinking 243 or 308.

It ain't easy being me.

they are great. I have one in .223 with a leupold 3x9vxii and it's a great shooter. It's ugly as heck but in my opinion you cant beat it because you can put some good glass on it and stay under $700.

yea i have a 4x12-40 bushnell that im going to put on it, For a cheaper scope the bushnell went 4 years without being knocked off. i never had to reset the scope when we sighted it in.......

upgraded my browning 7mm to a 6x24-50mm scope. had a nice buck at 350yards that i didnt want to make a bad shot on with the 40power. this year will be different if he does it again.

cabelas has it in their flyer for 400 bucks with a scope. Not sure what kind of scope but it sure is better looking than the gray stock.
