I've never caught one of those, only read about them. I would love to get into a bunch of them just for the fight. I would even fry some up just out of curiosity.

Caught one on Lake Fork once. I had no idea that their teeth and gill plates are like razor blades. I was bleeding pretty good in short order.

Heck I was 18 Yr's old when I found out they were not good to eat. I use to catch them all the time on the Attoyac River near Sam Rayburn Lake.

I've caught them in small ponds on soft plastics. Tough suckers
