If you always go to the same place you can.

Because I live in TEXAS and I CAN!
I've had a few in .223/5.56 and 6.8.
Thinking about a 9MM version after playing with a 16" 9MM rifle for a while.

It's my truck and 4wheeler gun of choice.
Yeah, it's loud which demands respect in a defense situation.
In a defense situation, it can punch thru stuff most pistols just put dents in.
It's more handy than a rifle.
It's accurate at much longer distances than a pistol and still has plenty of punch at distance.
An 8" steel gong at 100 yards is pretty easy with the reddot.
My 8.5" 6.8 kills pigs with authority.

But, it's not for everybody and doesn't conceal carry well....

Cheers,

Yeah, well I'm very familiar with that process, and it's full of holes just like any damned thing else the ATF has its hands in. Bottom line, I'm not going to trust some Joe Bubba municipal cop in small town TX to understand what a 5320 even is, let alone correct interpretation.

But you'll trust Joe Bubba municipal cop to understand the difference between a SBR and pistol based on whats attached to the rear of a gun? And that Joe Bubba is aware that the ATF declared it illegal to shoulder a pistol brace but then backed off that recently? Good luck.

I was asked for my "papers" by a game warden one time....for my 16" AR. He said I needed to have my "papers" on me at all times with the gun. I really wish I would have had the receipt for my AR as I would have handed it to him.

300 Blackout was developed for SBR or pistol application...

If I had to justify a purpose for every gun, probably wouldn't have very many. Sometimes you just do it for the sheer impulse of owning one.
