If it is long and skinny it kinda looks like a rat snake to me. Best guess without seeing the rest of it.

Yeah, looks kinda like the rat snake I killed not long ago trying to get into my shop as I was walking in...I slammed the door shut on him cutting it in half. lol. I know they are harmless but my adrenaline kicked on as soon as I felt that son gun sliver over my pant leg.

No head pics as it was smashed. It was next to our cabin in East Texas where my wife has mandated a no snake zone within 100 feet of cabin. There were two of them about 4.5 feet long. Both were pretty fat with one having just eaten with a huge lump in his belly. They were both very aggressive when cornered.
