My wife's GSP Abbey has funny ears they fold back when she is running hard, I'm worried that she may develop enter ear problems from trash getting in her ears. Has anyone else had this problem?

One of my dogs(not a hunting dog) has it happen all the time. While it opens the ear to allow bugs easier access, if the dog is running it shouldnt be much of a problem. The only problem we've had is she sometimes ends up sunburnt on/in the ear.

A good ear cream once a week will work just fine - use an anti biotic cream - Our Rhodesian has the same ears and when she runs or has her head out the window they are straight back
