Headed out on Thursday to chase birds about 15 miles south of Albany and was seeing if THF could provide me any updates? We usually go a couple weeks earlier in the season but baseball kept that from happening this year. Thanks in advance for your responses, I'll be sure to post a report when I return.

Lots of gobblers out north of you and Albany up in Throckmorton county. Lots of fun.

Should have a fun hunt, seeing Gobblers, Jakes and hens everyday here at my house. Lots of birds this year.

Sure seems like it's over up here north. Hunted last 2 days just north of the Shackleford line up in Throckmorton county. No gobbles or hen verbals whatsoever and only saw 1 hen and 2 jakes. All spread out and they were after food sources. Called it early today and headed home.

I know it is not as far west but up in Montague today it turned on. Buddy had lots of action compared to the last two weeks and dropped his longest single beard ever at 12.5 inches. Yelping hens were taking the gobblers from him still. There is still hope. I dropped one last year final weekend that was stuck on a hen.
