Is there a thread on here for folks to post their hunting camp pics? I'm a big fan of a good camp with lots of character, especially the ones with good stories. If there's a thread please delete my post and link me to it, but I didn't find one. If there isn't one, post 'em here!

My old camp had lots of character after 10" of rain one year (Haskell county)All I had to knock it down was a riding lawn mower at the time. Needless to say it took a while.

This my current camp

Looks like a lot less mowing to keep the current camp clear

Tent was my first camp.

Then just like the Jeffersons I was moving on up, my first trailer living large grin

Newer trailer, still looking for a little larger and nicer, but for my old goats butt it works just fine up

We love our San Saba place. We have worn this trailer out but it is so full of memories and tradition we don't want to give it up. As you can see we sometimes take a nap amongst various stuffed critters.

Tent was right behind me when I took this picture. Those granite slabs work nicely for fires.

Also pictured: Coal cooked foil potatoes.

This was my setup a couple years ago while mule deer hunting in New Mexico. It got the job done and most nights I was so tired I probably could have slept on a rock and not cared.

However, this year I stepped up a little in the comfort category with a canvas wall tent. This thing is like staying in a hotel on the mountain. It got used for an elk hunt, two mule deer hunts as well as some other odds and ends outings.

Wall tents are really nice. Our guide used them in Pagosa Springs subfreezing every night. Snug and warm with a wood stove. He trenched around all the tents to divert water flow. Really smart as a thunderstorm turned to snow never got wet inside .

Agree on wall tents, years ago a group of us hunted in northern Colorado and we had a guy that was a supply officer in the army that had a huge one that took 5 men to put up. Had two stove outlets. We had 6 guys hunting and had room for 3-4 more and stayed warm and comfy. Didn't ask how he got the tent. Perks I guess rifle
