Been fishing w my son lately during the break. Notified it's slow in here right now. Yesterday afternoon while fishing a local lake in dfw, saw fully plumaged bwt. Sure I've shot plenty of blue wings and green wings, but all of these were the real pretty black beak w a white stripe, and super pretty blue wings. Hopefully they're around this coming season. Really neat to see first hand.

I had a pair of cinnamons on my tank in Lometa a few days ago. Go figure, I pull up on the tractor and they swim off the bank and sit 20 yards from me for about two minutes until I drove away and they flushed. It was cool to see at least. I've shot a few of them down in the valley but never seen them on my place before in the hill country.

If you live in NTX, this is the only time a year you get to see them in full color.

gotta admit I've thought about it I'm sure one would be ok. Yup! I've thought about it but then you'd have to come up with story to tell on how you shot it or just say you plinked him off a pond in April. Last year during a retriever hunt test in May near Comanche we had beautiful BWT decoy perfectly while 20-30 people were standing 15 yards away.

I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.
