Do you keep yours clean enough to use for eating? There are times I would like to use mine but it's too dirty.

I only carry mine while quail hunting.

I might wipe the knife on my jeans and use it, but most of the time I just open the knife and use it. I carry it in my pocket, I use it for whittling, cutting straps, opening envelopes and other piddling things, but nothing that I would worry about being a problem. Cutting food is about the only time it really needs cleaning.

I carry a 3 blade pocket knife that stays clean and sharp. I carry a fixed blade on my belt for work or utility, i keep a sharp fixed blade in my hunting gear bag for skinning etc. when needed.

I carry multiple. One always clean, one for moderate stuff and one for dirty business and lend out to those who don't have one but need one at the moment.

Maybe it should have been moved to the Food Section since "Eating" was the intended use of the knife.

Someone go post something about using Chop Sticks and we'll see where it ends up. LOL
