Temps for this weekend are expected to be in high 60's where I hunt. Whats the boards thoughts on this?
They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason!

Snakes will be out, close to their dens but if it's sunny they will be laying around.

Snakes can be found active 12 months a year in Texas......when you go out expect to find them and hope you don't.....

Over 60 and with some sun they can come out to bath in the afternoon sun but should be sluggish. Be careful. On days like 70 and sunny I quit at noon.

I've found WAY more snakes in the backyard than I ever did on a hunt.

(but I look out anyway) I've never seen one on a hunt but avoid really warm days. Hope it stays that way.
