Received some handholds from Chad at Dallasreloads. 300WM 190gr berger vld hunting in norma brass. Have fired 3 rounds, 1 was to check the zero on my gun and the other 2 were on hogs. Hog 1 was a boar slightly inside 200 yards down hill shot and the hog was facing away, shot him in the back of the head, and as a result the back of his skull (and other brain material) was forced out of the front of his mouth. The second hog was inside 120 yards and was shot right behind the ear, leaving a hole nearly the size of a softball. Needless to say I'm pretty ecstatic about the ammo. Thanks Chad, y'all give him a shout he's got the good stuff!

Going back out today, going to shoot some 130grain sst's in my 270. As for having enough gun, i was just wanting to see if there was a difference in dead and SUPER DEAD LOL. Figured if their heads exploded i wouldn't have to bleed the carcass  Overkill isn't even really a thing hahaha.

well BrianMc, i can guarantee that rifle will not let you down when it comes to pigs. I haven't used anything smaller than 180gr yet but as for everything i have shot with that rifle, every single animal has dropped, EVERY ANIMAL!
