The Caddo Grasslands has good squirrel hunting. 1.5 hours from Dallas

How is squirrel hunting this time of year what with all the leaves being off the trees? I haven't been since I was a kid and that was in the fall. I've had the itch to go lately - partly nostalgic and partly for some meat variety.
