 Took him last month south of Presidio. Second afternoon we found him chasing a doe. 245 yard shot flipped him over and when he hit broke his right antler. My taxidermist can fix it.

Great buck. Sorry about the antler, but as you say, fixable. We watched him for about 5 minutes before shooting and he was very symetrical so I feel good about "putting him back together". What's left on his right side is within a half inch of his left.

Nice MD but I'll never cross that border Had two friends, Mexican citizens, meet us in Presidio and crossed us. They were with us the entire trip. I never felt even remotely uncomfortable. We went to Chihuahua also then up toward Juarez where I was able to shoot an aoudad also. I'll put up a pic of the goat later.

Congrats! sounds like a fun hunt.
I have friends that cross all the time, just not sure I can make myself do it. The ones who go are single/no kids. I have a family, figure ill just stay this side.
