I am looking into a light bar for my 4 wheeler. Prob wanting a 12" on the front and two 4"x4" for the back, preferably with water proof wire harness. Any suggestions?
Been looking on eBay. There are some cheap ones. Surely someone here has used those cheap free lights off eBay?
I have been doing a bit of reading and auxbeam seem to be the best for the price. Or should I buy one of the better ones, Ridgid? More money does not always mean better product.

I bought the ones on amazon. 24" bar & two square ones with wiring harness was like $70. had them 2 seasons now and so far so good. I figure I can replace them about 6 times before I hit what Ridgid would have cost. I wouldn't be surprised if the ridgid is brighter but our Mule already looks like a space ship with just these and I have no need for anything brighter.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

I got the 4 package of the Auxbeam cubes for $35. Like ccbirddogman said, they were cheap enough to replace quite a few times before forking up for a Ridgid. All I need is a bar up front.

I picked up a $70 24" off Amazon three seasons ago and have had great luck. Its on the front of my pickup full time. It has been put through hell out at the lease and still works great.

I bought a 52" off of Amazon. NorthPole Lights I believe. Has held up the past 6-8 months just fine with several hours of trailering and several hours of use. Has also held up to the pressure washer when cleaning. Very bright.

I bought a 12" bar from Rural King for the front of my ranger and 2 cubes as rear work lights. I have around $60 in them. Best money I have spent. Holds up great, plenty bright

I put the Auxbeam 12" from Amazon on my ATV. Good quality and real bright. I sealed around the front bezel with silicone to make sure no water gets in. Used a Mictuning wiring harness, also off of Amazon. Didn't use the provided switch but wired the relay into the existing high beam wire.

Thanks for all the replies. There are a few 12" light bars on eBay. Some are 72 watts and some are 100+ watts. How many watts can my 08 Suzuki kindquad 400 4 wheeler handle??

Keep in mind when you start adding lights and winches etc. you may have to upgrade your power supply.

Just remember that the wattage from all of the cheaper brands is BS. I have purchased a lot and none are correct. Usually a lot less than advertised.

The input wattage is probably correct, they fudge on the output lumens by giving the theoretical value based upon 100 lumen per watt. In reality, you will only get 80%, or less, output of the theoretical.

I realize this is an older post - but since it has been brought back to life I'll give input. I bought a cheap one on Amazon. I look the lens off and sealed it with silicone. Someone pulled out in front of me and I hit them, wrecked the truck it was on and the impact was on the grill guard where it was mounted. The mounts broke, but the light was fully functional and still waterproof. Welded up new brackets and sold it to a buddy. It still works today. Two months later I got a Rigid bar that was around the same length, and the rigid was WAY brighter. Is that important? For the majority of people, no. The cheap bars or cubes do just fine. The rigid did have a nice build quality though, but not worth the money. I got the rigid bar dirt cheap that's the only reason I bought it.
